NO FEALTY - "They Love The Soil Which Makes Their Graves" - 10"

5 EUR
Last year things were a bit guiet from the NO FEALTY camp, since the band spent the year writing and recording a new album. On March 27 2015 they are therefore finally hitting the streets with their new 10” vinyl “THEY LOVE THE SOIL WHICH MAKES THEIR GRAVES”, which will once again be released on their own label Angry Music Records, on 5Feetunder Records from Denmark, The Mind is Everything Records from Norway, Boue Records from France plus Wolves and Vibrancy Records from Germany. The record is once again produces, mixed and mastered by the band’s one guitarist Tobi in Angry Music Studios. The record will be release at a release party in Copenhagen on March 27 followed by a short tour to Sweden and Germany together with Copenhagen based chaotic hardcore band Église.

NO FEALTY was formed in the end of 2011 and consists of former and current members of bands like Hexis, Stream City, Lewd Flesh and Thought Police Brutality. In August 2013 the band released their debut album ”IN THE SHADOW OF THE MONOLITH”. The record was released by the band’s own label Angry Music Records along with a bunch of other labels from Denmark and the rest of Europe. It was released both digitally and physically (vinyl and tape), and received good reviews from a lot of blogs and zines. In November 2013 NO FEALTY released a split 7" with the Aalborg-based band Kollapse. Live as well as on record they strive to make a chaotic, brutal and aggressive impression - without too much tough-guy bullshit. The lyrics tend to be critical and politically loaded. The band has been described in many ways, but usually genre labels such as punk, crust, grind, thrash and hardcore are being mentioned.

NO FEALTY are closely connected to and shaped by the Danish hardcore/punk/metal/DIY scene, that is centred in Copenhagen. With bands like Hexis, Halshug, Night Fever, Redwood Hill and many more as forerunners it has fostered a long range of hard hitting bands of high quality during the last couple of years. Some even go on to say that these years the local scene is more exuberant, innovative and ambitious than ever. NO FEALTY has no illusions of getting the same kind of recognition as the aforementioned acts, but other achievements will do as well. With their new record the band is without a doubt contributing to the development of this scene, that is putting Copenhagen on the world map of hardcore.
